The EO Experience

Since its inception in 1987, members of EO have been building a global network to serve the unique needs of the complete entrepreneur. This innovative process has sustained a growing organization that has withstood—even flourished—during times of economic uncertainty, and now with a global footprint in more than 46 countries.

For entrepreneurs and founders of businesses making more than U.S. $1 million in annual revenue, there is no better opportunity to learn and grow than the one that is provided to you through membership in EO. Here’s what you can expect from the EO experience:

become a strategic alliance partner

Every EO member belongs to a Forum, a member-led, confidential peer program, that gives you the ability to tap into a group of 7-10 fellow business owners who can offer you direction based on their experiences. Your Forum will serve as your sounding board and give you advice on any topic you choose to discuss. Forum meetings are held monthly and are run by moderator-trained EO members who help guide the sessions to ensure the conversations are run smoothly and effectively.

Virtually or in-person, executive education is a hallmark of EO. EO Cleveland is proud to offer members a number of learning opportunities that will help them grow and succeed in their business, community and family lives. Whether you are looking for fresh ideas, new skills, a toolkit of resources or a solution to challenges you face in your business, EO has the executive education to meet your needs.

Beyond your local chapter, EO members also have the opportunity to attend EO Global events that combine valuable learning programs with social and networking opportunities. EO’s largest events, called Universities, bring hundreds of members together for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at exciting locations around the world each year. Universities, as well as smaller EO events, enable members to learn from business experts, experience other cultures and build relationships with members outside of your chapter.

Local chapter events bring all of EO Cleveland together for education, comradery and connections. EO Cleveland events allow members to connect on multiple levels and share our accomplishments, stresses and defeats. The relationships we build through EO are irreplaceable. Much like a band on the road struggling to make it big, EO Cleveland can relate to each other in a way that others can’t quite understand – beyond just business.

Through our EO Mentorship program, members can foster high-level leadership and establish personal development relationship with an assigned mentor or mentee in your area and in your industry. Each mentor/mentee relationship lasts 10-12 months. Mentees work toward goals and establish personal accountability, while mentors offer support through next-level education and engagement.

For first-stage entrepreneurs, the EO Accelerator Program will help you with the new challenges you will face every day. It will help new entrepreneurs discover the tools they need to get to the next stage in their business through structured educational content focused on the​ core areas of first-stage businesses.
